New Technologies for Teachers and Students

Graham Stanley works at the British Council in Barcelona. He is project manager for the "Second Life" project at the British Council, EFT teacher and ICT co-ordinator. I've been to a couple of his lectures and he is a great teacher. Here's one of his videos:

Networked Student:
The Networked Student was inspired by CCK08, a Connectivism course offered by George Siemens and Stephen Downes during fall 2008. It depicts an actual project completed by Wendy Drexler's high school students. The Networked Student concept map was inspired by Alec Couros' Networked Teacher. I hope that teachers will use it to help their colleagues, parents, and students understand networked learning in the 21st century.

  1. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope the video is helpful. I love to hear feedback. The project continues. Today we had a telephone conference call (doesn't that seem old fashioned) with a biological weapons expert. One of the students is doing bio warfare for his topic. We're having fun.
